Our Health Guarantee

We guarantee that your puppy is in good health, to the best of our knowledge, at the time of adoption. Each puppy receives age-appropriate vaccinations and preventative care before going home.

We also guarantee that your puppy is free from life-threatening congenital defects for:

• 1 year from the date of adoption
• 2 years when your puppy remains on the recommended NuVet supplement program

A life-threatening congenital defect is a serious condition present at birth that significantly affects the puppy’s ability to survive.

This guarantee does not cover:

• Parvovirus
• Parasites
• Common puppy illnesses
• Injuries or illnesses that occur after your puppy leaves our care

Veterinary Examination Required

Your puppy must be examined by a licensed veterinarian within 3 days of going home.

Failure to complete this examination within 3 days will void this Health Guarantee.

If your veterinarian identifies a serious health concern covered under this guarantee, you must provide written documentation from the veterinarian before any claim can be processed.

Parasites

Although we follow a strict deworming protocol with an excellent success rate, it is common for puppies to develop or show dormant parasites after the stress of moving to a new home.

We recommend having a fecal examination performed during your puppy’s first veterinary visit.

If parasites requiring treatment are found during that visit, and your puppy was examined within the required 3-day period, we will provide the appropriate medication at no cost.

If a Covered Health Issue Is Found

If your veterinarian diagnoses a life-threatening congenital defect covered by this guarantee, Sterling Brook Doodles will offer a replacement puppy of equal value as soon as one is available.

A written diagnosis from your licensed veterinarian must be provided, and all guarantee requirements must have been met.

In the Event of a Puppy’s Death

If your puppy passes away while covered under this guarantee, a complete veterinary necropsy (autopsy) must be performed at the owner’s expense.

A copy of the veterinarian’s findings must be submitted before any replacement puppy will be considered.

Additional Terms

Please understand that every puppy is unique.

While we make every effort to accurately represent each puppy through photos, and visits when available, we cannot guarantee:

• Adult size
• Adult coat color
• Coat type
• Markings
• Other physical characteristics that naturally change as a puppy matures

Our breeding program prioritizes health, temperament, and structure above appearance.

• The puppy purchased must be spayed or neutered by seven months of age. If the owner fails to do so the owners decision nulls and void the one year health guarantee offered by Sterling Brook Doodles.

• Sterling Brook Doodles guarantees the puppy is in good health, has had its first round of immunizations, and has been dewormed at the time the buyer takes possession. Buyer has three days to take the puppy to a veterinarian for an examination. If the puppy is found to be in poor health, the buyer has the option of returning the puppy to the seller, at buyer’s cost, for a replacement puppy when next available. The buyer will provide a written statement from a licensed veterinarian clearly stating defect or illness. If the puppy is not taken to a licensed veterinarian within the three business days, the health warranty is null and void. NO EXCEPTIONS

Refund Policy

We do not offer refunds.

If a valid claim is approved under this Health Guarantee, a replacement puppy of equal value will be provided.
